Sherri is a Partner and Managing Director in the Beacon Pointe Flint, MI office. With more than four decades of experience as a trusted advisor, Sherri specializes in guiding business owners, high-net-worth individuals, and multi-generational families through complex and comprehensive wealth management needs. She began her career as an intern at Stephens Wealth Management Group, where she built a trusted team, quadrupled the size of the practice, and ultimately became the owner of the practice in 1994. SWMG was acquired by Beacon Pointe in 2025. Throughout her career, Sherri has earned national recognition as a leader in her profession, played an active role in mentoring women in finance, and served in key governance and philanthropic roles across the Flint community. She is a trustee and past Investment Committee chair for the Community Foundation of Greater Flint. She also sits on the advisory board for the University of Michigan-Flint School of Management and sponsors a scholarship supporting aspiring financial professionals. Additionally, she served on the board of McLaren Hospital for 15 years and is a founding member of the Women’s Leadership Alliance, whose mission is to attract, develop, and engage tomorrow’s promising women leaders in order to grow and strengthen the financial advisory profession. Sherri holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan-Flint. Her accomplishments have been recognized through numerous industry and community awards, including the UM Flint School of Management Outstanding Alumni Award (2025) and repeated national rankings by Forbes, Barron’s, and the Financial Times. In 2026, she was included on the Forbes Top Best-in-State Women Wealth Advisors list. Outside of the office, Sherri enjoys traveling, running, biking, boating, and spending time with her family.
