Joyce is a Senior Estate Strategist at Beacon Pointe and is responsible for advising and educating individuals and families on sophisticated wealth planning strategies designed to preserve, protect, and transition wealth in alignment with their long-term goals and values. Joyce specializes in developing innovative, comprehensive planning solutions for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families with complex estate, tax, philanthropic, and multigenerational planning needs.
Prior to joining Beacon Pointe, Joyce was Managing Director and Senior Wealth Strategist at UBS Financial Services Inc., where she advised ultra-high-net-worth families on estate planning, philanthropy, and family governance and helped develop and grow the ultra-high-net-worth planning team. She also practiced as a Trusts and Estates Attorney with Barnes & Karisch, P.C. and Fox & Associates, LLP in Texas.
Joyce is a thought leader on estate planning and wealth transfer strategies, with a particular focus on estate planning for owners of oil and gas interests, business owners, family governance, and multi-generational planning for growing families.
Joyce earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Christian University and her Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law. She resides in the Houston area with her husband and enjoys spending time with her four adult children and their growing families.
