John Marx

John is a Senior Wealth Advisor based in the Beacon Pointe New York office, bringing 25 years of experience as a corporate bond trader and trading manager. He began his career at Morgan Stanley, where he spent 12 years before advancing to leadership roles overseeing trading desks at Smith Barney, Nomura, and Mitsubishi UFJ. Prior to joining Beacon Pointe through the 2026 acquisition of Edge Wealth Management, John served as a Senior Financial Advisor at Edge. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
