Dan Archer, CFP®

Dan is a Partner and Managing Director based in the Beacon Pointe Allen, TX office, bringing more than three decades of experience in financial planning and investment management. He began his career in the Dallas office of Merrill Lynch and later continued his work at UBS, Retirement Advisors of America, and True North Advisors. Prior to joining Beacon Pointe through the 2026 acquisition of ACT Wealth Management, Dan served as a Founding Principal of the firm, focusing his efforts on investment research, portfolio construction, and working closely with clients to develop and implement personalized financial strategies. Dan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Financial Services and Planning with an emphasis in Accounting from Baylor University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.
