With more than 15 years of experience, Alana brings deep expertise in retirement income planning and a relationship-driven approach to helping individuals and families navigate complex financial decisions. Her background in comprehensive wealth management, investment strategy, risk management, and insurance planning further strengthens the team’s ability to provide personalized guidance to clients across Northern Virginia and beyond.

Previously, Alana served as a Senior Advisor, developing personalized financial strategies based on each client’s goals and circumstances. Her work included financial planning, investment and net worth analysis, retirement income planning, and evaluations of life insurance and annuity needs. Alana has worked closely with leading retirement income professionals and developers of the Retirement Income Style Awareness (RISA) framework. She has also contributed content and presentations to the Retirement Researcher community.
Alana holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designations. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business, with a major in Finance, from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business. A member of the Northern Virginia Estate Planning Council, she was named a Five Star Wealth Manager each year from 2022 through 2026. She has been featured in Northern Virginia Magazine and appeared on the Retire with Style podcast.
