Jen is a Partner and Managing Director in the Beacon Pointe Chicago, IL office. Jen works closely with clients to design personalized financial plans that provide clarity, confidence, and peace of mind. She began working with Hemington Wealth Management in 2005, which later joined Beacon Pointe in 2025. Jen has nearly 20 years of experience advising clients, with specialties that include financial freedom planning, college funding strategies, tax reduction tactics, and preparing for life’s unexpected events. She aims to help clients get crystal clear about what’s most important in life, and then helps them feel confident and connected to the financial plan that supports their vision. She has also been a thought leader for professionals in the legal community, co-authoring Hemington’s white paper What Do Breadwinner Women Lawyers Want? and frequently writes and speaks on the unique needs of lawyer clients. Jen is on a personal mission to bring more financial peace of mind and joy to lawyers, a group of professionals who are under huge amounts of stress, professionally and personally. A dedicated advocate for women, Jen is active in the Beacon Pointe Women’s Advisory Institute, regularly hosts events focused on financial education and empowerment, and has served as Board President for Girls on the Run Chicago.
Jen graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Carolina’s Honors College with a degree in Mathematics, where she was an Academic All-American and captain for the NCAA National Championship Track & Field team. She earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation through Northwestern University and is a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council. She is also a 10-time winner of the Five Star Professional Wealth Manager award and a Forbes Best-in-State Top Women Wealth Advisors (2025). Outside of the office, Jen enjoys running on the 606, practicing yoga, traveling with her husband and sons, and cheering on her community in Chicago.
