Hunter is a Senior Wealth Advisor in the Beacon Pointe Fort Worth, TX office, and specializes in helping individuals and families build customized financial plans designed to provide security and peace of mind, grounded in a fiduciary, client-first approach. Prior to joining Beacon Pointe through the 2025 acquisition of InvestmentHunter Wealth Services, which he founded in 2002, Hunter spent more than 20 years in senior roles across technology and finance, including leadership positions at IBM, BMC Software, and Cima Solutions Group. He also authored investment and financial planning newsletters and wrote financial planning columns for Dallas/Fort Worth newspapers. Hunter earned his undergraduate degree in finance from Southwestern University and completed the College of Financial Planning program, earning the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation, along with his real estate and insurance licenses. Outside of the office, he is passionate about mentoring young people on the importance of financial planning.
