Rick Fingerman is a Partner and Managing Director in the Beacon Pointe Newton, MA office. Rick specializes in helping widowed and divorced women build clarity and confidence around their financial lives, offering thoughtful guidance to those navigating major life transitions. With deep experience in retirement planning, college funding, and comprehensive financial wellness, Rick blends deep technical knowledge with a holistic, client-centered approach to wealth management. Prior to joining Beacon Pointe through the 2025 acquisition of Financial Planning Solutions, LLC., Rick served as a Managing Partner and Co-Founder. Rick is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®), and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) with over 30 years of experience helping clients make thoughtful, confident financial decisions at every stage of life. Rick also oversees a long-standing pro bono program at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, helping patients navigate the financial challenges that accompany a cancer diagnosis. Through this initiative, over 700 families have received no-cost financial guidance during a critical time. Rick also helps empower women through the Savvy Ladies initiative. He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Experts Network, Retirement Daily, Barron’s, Chicago Tribune, The Boston Globe, and Financial Advisor Magazine. Outside of the office, Rick enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, spending time with family, and building furniture.
