Chris is a Partner and Managing Director in the Beacon Pointe Larkspur, CA office, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the investment industry, advising individuals, families, endowments, foundations, and retirement plans with a thoughtful, goals-based approach. He joined Beacon Pointe through the 2025 acquisition of Litman Gregory Wealth Management, where he had been a principal since 2001. During his tenure at Litman Gregory, he also served as Co-CEO of the Litman Gregory companies and Managing Principal of the firm’s Investment Advisory business. Prior to Litman Gregory, Chris was a Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen, serving clients in the Investment Advisory and Personal Financial Planning groups. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) professional. Recognized as a Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisor from 2020-2025, Chris enjoys traveling internationally and biking – both mountain and road.
