Daniel (Dan) is a Senior Wealth Advisor and through comprehensive planning and investment management, Dan and his team develop customized strategies to help individuals and families meet their financial goals. Prior to joining Beacon Pointe Advisors, Dan launched D.R. Saur Financial in 1993, helping individuals and families pursue their ideal retirement dream. Dan obtained a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. During his second year of college, Dan earned his commercial pilot’s certificate and became a Certified Flight Instructor giving flight lessons and working as an airline transport pilot before ultimately choosing a career in investments and financial planning. When Dan is not working he loves hanging out with his wife Lisa, reading, and playing racquetball, cycling, and water sports.
