Waltham, MA, October 6, 2021 – Beacon Pointe Advisors, LLC (“Beacon Pointe”) has added to its Boston-based advisory team, bringing five new hires into the fold, all with various roles and diverse backgrounds. The personnel growth of the wealth management firm comes on the heels of Beacon Pointe’s expanded allWEALTH® service offering, specifically in the area of impact initiatives such as values-based investing and serving women investors through Beacon Pointe’s Women’s Advisory Institute.
In conjunction with a recent surge in social justice movements and conversations surrounding the environment and climate change to build a more sustainable future, impact investing and creating investment portfolios that match investor values have been on the rise.
“Over the past year we have seen a dramatic increase in the need for our values-based investing services since the onset of the pandemic,” states Beacon Pointe Partner and Managing Director, Mark Mathers, CFP®. “We began to notice, in addition to higher demand for attentive financial advisors, that many investors were coming to our team looking to have their portfolios reflect the causes that matter most to them. More and more people are realizing the impact their money can have beyond charitable giving.”
