Austin is a Wealth Advisor in the Beacon Pointe San Diego, CA office and is responsible for partnering with Beacon Pointe’s investment and financial planning teams to provide customized solutions that help clients meet their financial goals. Austin holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Economics from Penn State University. Prior to joining Beacon Pointe, Austin worked for over five years at Vanguard in Philadelphia in both investment operations and Advice Methodology, where his team oversaw Portfolio Construction and Financial Planning methodology for Vanguard’s personal advice offer. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Austin is a huge fan of Pittsburgh sports and has attended Penn State Football games every year since birth. New to California, Austin is enjoying living in Encinitas, where he can play pickleball, hike, run, bike, and golf year-round. He hopes that these activities will help lower his golf handicap to the level it was while playing golf in high school.
