Senior Client Service Associate
Sonja is a Senior Client Service Associate in the Beacon Pointe Waltham, MA office, bringing a strong background in investment operations, academic teaching, and business analysis. Prior to joining Beacon Pointe through its acquisition of Sensible Financial Planning in 2025, Sonja served as an Operations Associate, where she supported a wide range of client services and firm operations. Earlier in her career, she was a Project Manager in Investment Operations at MetLife before transitioning to academia, where she taught Finance at Merrimack College for five years. Following her time in education, Sonja worked as a Business Analyst for Constant Contact, collaborating with IT teams to enhance operational efficiency within the company’s CRM systems. Sonja earned her bachelor’s degree in management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was the captain of the varsity lacrosse and field hockey teams. She went on to receive her Master of Business Administration from Boston University. She resides in Boston with her husband and their two children. Outside of the office, Sonja enjoys skiing, golfing, playing tennis, volunteering in her community, and cheering on local hockey teams.
