Ellen Breau
Client Service Associate
Ellen is a Client Service Associate in the Beacon Pointe Waltham, MA office. She brings a diverse background in financial management, education, and consulting to her role, combining analytical expertise with a people-focused approach to client service. Prior to joining Beacon Pointe through the 2025 acquisition of Sensible Financial Planning, Ellen served as an accountant and financial manager at UMass Amherst and worked in budgeting and endowment management at the Fay School in Southborough. Earlier in her career, she worked as a consultant in information systems at NATO in Brussels, Belgium, and taught mathematics and international business at American University in Athens, Greece. Ellen earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross and her master’s degree in management from Boston University Brussels. Having lived and worked internationally, she developed a deep love of languages and travel. Outside of the office, she enjoys practicing Bachata, hiking, and playing frisbee.
