Mary Margaret is a Wealth Advisor at Beacon Pointe and holds both the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) and Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designations. She and her team provide holistic financial planning and investment management, delivering comprehensive, fiduciary-focused guidance to help individuals, families, and businesses achieve their long-term financial goals.

A passionate advocate for women’s financial empowerment, Mary Margaret is an active member of Beacon Pointe’s Women’s Advisory Institute, where she regularly leads educational events designed to build financial confidence and literacy.

Before joining Beacon Pointe, Mary Margaret served as Marketing Director and Client Service Administrator at Altavista Wealth Management, which merged with Beacon Pointe in 2022. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of the South: Sewanee.

Dedicated to her profession and her community, she is also a member of the Western North Carolina Estate Planning Council. A native of western North Carolina, Mary Margaret enjoys exploring the region’s scenic trails with her husband and two dogs, though most of her free time is happily spent chasing after her two young daughters.
