Stephen is a Senior Wealth Advisor in the Beacon Pointe Bethesda, Maryland office, where he works closely with clients to organize and simplify their financial lives. Steve helps individuals and families develop comprehensive strategies to achieve their long-term goals. Stephen was a financial advisor with The Family Firm, which joined Beacon Pointe in 2025. Earlier in his career, he was an international development professional supporting programs in the former Soviet Union and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Pazardjik, Bulgaria. He began his professional journey in Washington, D.C., as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Steve Horn in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Stephen is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) and completed his Personal Financial Planning coursework at Georgetown University. He also holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation, having completed the program at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania’s Aresty Institute of Executive Education. Stephen earned his Master’s degree in International Relations from KIMEP University in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Richmond.

Actively involved in his community, Stephen volunteers with the Rock Creek Conservancy. An avid outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys running, hiking, backpacking, and spending time with his wife, Sarah, and their daughter, Saoirse.
