Lyman is a Partner and Managing Director in the Beacon Pointe Newton, MA office. He specializes in guiding empty nesters through the financial challenges of launching their young adult children while planning for retirement. Lyman tries to help parents clarify what matters most by building strategies that are aligned with their life priorities. In addition, he designs and manages 401(k) plans for small business owners. Lyman brings extensive experience as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®), helping individuals and families make thoughtful financial decisions with confidence. Prior to Beacon Pointe, Lyman served as a co-founder of Financial Planning Solutions, LLC. (which joined Beacon Pointe in 2025). Outside of the office, he enjoys leading his local Scout Troop on hiking and camping adventures. He also volunteers for several church finance boards and the board of Conscious Capitalism Boston, Inc. He and his wife have three young adult children and enjoy attending their ultimate frisbee and collegiate volleyball games. Lyman loves the outdoors and spends summers at long-standing family reunions in Wells Beach, Maine, and on Lake Winnisquam in New Hampshire.
