Samuel (Sam) has spent over 20 years in facilitating growth and asset protection strategies for high net worth individuals and families. Prior to joining Beacon Pointe, Sam worked for Ironmark Advisors where he served clients and held the role of Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to Ironmark Advisors, Sam began his career at American Express and during his time there achieved three Advisor of the Year Awards and advanced advisor status. Sam holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) certification. He graduated from Midwestern State University with a bachelor’s in business administration and his MBA.  During his time at Midwestern, he played on the men’s collegiate soccer team and captained the team to its first ever Lone Star Conference title.  Sam and his wife, Jennifer, have two children.  In his spare time he coaches his daughter’s soccer team and leads their Bible study each Wednesday. In addition, the family enjoys camping, fishing and are always ready for an outdoor adventure.
