Job Description

Beacon Pointe is currently seeking an exceptional individual to join our Central Operations team as a Manager. The position will be located in our Scottsdale, AZ office. The successful candidate will join a highly talented team of professionals that service the investment management and financial planning needs of high net worth individuals, families and institutions. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of both educational and professional achievement; with a commitment and passion for delivering exceptional service to the firm’s clients and associates.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train Central Operations team members on key responsibilities of their role
  • Support our satellite office locations with client requests such as prepping account paperwork and tracking setup via custodian partners
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on highly complex operations processes with the aptitude to identify, understand and communicate core operational needs
  • Effectively partner with satellite offices to support existing client relationships and prospects
  • Research and respond to complex client and associate inquiries within defined service level commitments
  • Execute account maintenance tasks, as needed
  • Maintain and update client files utilizing internal systems including CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and portfolio management databases (Tamarac AdvisorView)
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with operations leadership team on projects and/or initiatives designed to streamline firm policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required (Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Economics preferred)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience working within client services and/or operations; preferably with a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), investment management firm or broker/dealer
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of client service and operational processes
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to detail with excellent organization, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving work environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and/or Tamarac AdvisorView preferred
  • Experience with Charles Schwab, Fidelity and/or TD Ameritrade institutional platforms and paperwork preferred
