Michael Himmel is a wealth advisor in Beacon Pointe’s Vero Beach, Florida office and is responsible for partnering with Beacon Pointe’s investment and financial planning teams to provide customized solutions that help clients meet their financial goals.  Prior to joining Beacon Pointe, Michael committed to a broad array of financial management endeavors throughout his thirty-five-year career most recently in the role of founding Partner and Portfolio Manager for Essex Asset Management, as well as Portfolio Manager for BNY-Mellon, Hedge Fund Manager with Lambeth Master Fund, Ltd., Derivatives, Options and Physical Commodity Trader for Sinochem International London, and NYMEX futures broker for Shearson Lehman American Express. Michael received bachelor’s degrees in economics and financial management from the Catholic University of America. In addition to his degrees, Michael holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation and has received certificates for Financial Options Trading, Artificial Neural Networks Applications, Data Science Specialization, R-Programming, and Computational Finance. Michael enjoys helping families and clients to align their lives and their wealth.
