Tom O’Connor is a Senior Financial Planner at Beacon Pointe Advisors. With over thirty years of experience, Tom is responsible for helping clients develop, execute, and maintain a strategic financial plan in order to achieve their personal and financial goals. Prior to joining Beacon Pointe, Tom advised high-net-worth clients including Fortune 500 executives, entrepreneurs, and business owners. Tom earned a BS in Computer Science from Purdue University, his MBA in Finance and Statistics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designations. Tom resides in Laguna Niguel, CA. Outside the office, he enjoys reading, staying active outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
