Scott is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the firm’s insurance offerings in addition to supporting Beacon Pointe Advisors and their clients across the country. For over two decades, Scott has focused on helping individuals and business owners plan for retirement, protect their families and businesses, and create their legacy by implementing strategies such as wealth preservation, liquidity planning, business continuity, executive compensation, charitable planning, capital asset maximization, life insurance policy analysis and long-term care planning. Scott earned his BA in Finance with a major in Accounting from New Hampshire College. He maintains both the Charted Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant certificates from the American College. Scott was in the United States Air Force from 1984 to 1987. He was a Corporate Accountant in Boston, MA until he moved to Southern California in 1991. Scott is married and has two daughters. He enjoys sports, travel, and spending time with his family.
