Mauricio Ibarra
Director, Information Technology
Mauricio is the Director of Information Technology for Beacon Pointe Advisors, responsible for the architect and support of technology infrastructure for all company office locations in addition to overseeing the different application platforms and the firm’s IT Infrastructure Cloud presence. Mauricio spent the last 15 years at Maui Jim Sunglasses, holding different roles from Network Administrator to IT Infrastructure Manager; supporting their worldwide IT operations, using his multi-language skills (Spanish, French, and English). Mauricio holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science combining studies between the University Jose Simeon Canas UCA in El Salvador and Rosemont College in Canada; he also holds multiple IT certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, IBM, Amazon AWS, and CompTIA. Outside the office, Mauricio really enjoys family time, travel, food, dance, and exercise.
