Gary Tangwall is a Partner and Senior Wealth Advisor at Beacon Pointe Advisors with over three decades of wealth management experience advising clients on investments, wealth management strategies, retirement distribution strategies, and estate and charitable planning. He enjoys listening to and advising clients and has a true passion for presenting wealth management concepts to pre-retirees or speaking about estate and charitable giving strategies to community or church groups. Gary is dedicated to community service and has given back by serving on the board of regents for Augsburg University and as a board member of the White Bear Lake YMCA and the Magnuson Christian School. Gary earned his Bachelor of Arts in accounting and economics from Augsburg University, an MBA in business management from the University of St. Thomas, and a Certificate in Advanced Retirement Concepts through the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of the office, Gary enjoys spending time at home with his wife of 33 years and their two sons, mountain climbing, downhill skiing, and attending Minnesota Gophers games.
