Matthew MacDonald is a Senior Wealth Advisor and is responsible for partnering with Beacon Pointe’s investment and financial planning teams to provide customized solutions that help clients meet their financial goals. Matthew began his career in 2001 on the trading floor at Credit Suisse First Boston in New York before taking his career overseas, gaining extensive experience in global investments and financial planning. He previously was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong and held various leadership and institutional sales positions over a 16-year period in Asia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Prior to joining Beacon Pointe, he spent three years as a Wealth Advisor and Senior Vice President with Wells Fargo Private Bank in Beverly Hills, California. Matthew is a graduate of the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation. Matthew currently resides in West Los Angeles with his wife and three children, and outside of the office he enjoys golfing and traveling.
