Barron’s has announced that Beacon Pointe has been included in their 2018 list of the Top 40 RIA Firms. This award recognizes elite firms across the country that demonstrate steady growth, both organic as well as through mergers and acquisitions of smaller Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firms. The award has jumped from recognizing 20 tops firms in 2016, and 30 in 2017, to 40 in 2018 to make room for the “explosive growth” of firms this year.
Most of the firms selected had an average amount of 31 offices, average amount of 83 advisors, and average amount of 8,012 advisory clients. Based on these different data points, this year Beacon Pointe was ranked 36. Beacon Pointe’s diversity in leadership (in addition to CEO, more than 50% of the firm’s leadership team is comprised of women), continued client growth, recent acquisitions and the expansion of new offices across the country, along with the firm’s entrepreneurial mentality of embracing technology to continually improve the client experience will continue to play an important role in Beacon Pointe’s future.
